website-links(2)

This is the theory of LINK EXCHANGE, it may be BORING TO READ, but it’s GOOD TO UNDERSTAND! and sorry, in order to make you have a clear picture of link exchange, this post has to be a bit long!

Let’s start here…

You may think you know what a link exchange is, but I’m here to tell you, there is quite a difference in the type I’m talking about here.

A “normal” link exchange is one where you place a bunch of cruddy banners or extra coding on your site. This will detract from the professionalism you’re striving to preserve. A “real” traffic-pulling link exchange is one in which you solicit linking partners on an individual and personal basis to place their link on your web site if they will do the same for you on their own site. Or, simply asking webmasters to post a link to your site on theirs as both sites content will compliment each other.

The wonderful, crazy place we call “The Internet” really was built on the power of the link.
